How long have you been working for Dobas AG?  

I had my first day of work in July 2024.

Where did your professional journey take you prior to your current position?

I completed my apprenticeship as a draftswoman specialised in architecture and worked in this profession for several years. After my apprenticeship, I did my professional certification and found my way to Dobas.

What are your main tasks as a sales and marketing assistant / draftswoman?  

I provide support to management in the areas of Sales and Marketing – and wherever else a helping hand is needed.

How do you stay informed and, more importantly, inspired?

I stay informed by engaging in conversation with the people in my life and using the internet. I get inspiration from travelling to unknown places.

What materials make your senses tingle?

Wood. It can be used in a variety of ways, whether as a concealed or visible construction, as a finished surface, or as decoration. The scent of wood immediately creates an atmosphere of well-being. Plus, it is a sustainable material.

What should not be missing from your workplace?

My notebook, where I write down all my ideas and to-do lists. It helps me keep all the things in my head in order. And, of course, some sort of little «comfort snack» and a glass of water are always there.

What building and/or space has left a particularly lasting impression on you and why?

I like mixing the old and historic with the new and modern. For example, when the interior of an old Engadin house, with its unmistakable wall paintings and its rich history, was renovated in a modern style that respected the existing structure. Or when an old unused barn is converted into a loft. The charm of old buildings has endless potential.

What fills you with joy and pride in your professional life?

When our team has worked well together to produce a successful project that the client is happy with.

What brings you joy in your personal life?

When I have the opportunity to spend time with my family and friends and make new memories.
