How long have you been working for Dobas AG?

I’ve been working for Dobas since 1 August 2024.

Where did your professional journey take you prior to your current position?

The first stop of my professional journey was on a construction site where I worked as a carpenter; the next stop was selling construction materials at SABAG; the third was working in the area of Building and Administrative Law for the canton of Lucerne’s Office of Regional Planning and Economy.

What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?

As a project manager, I supervise projects from the planning stages to production and installation. I am also the go-to contact for all project participants and coordinate the different trades.

How do you stay informed and, more importantly, inspired?

My curiosity keeps me informed – I’m always interested in learning new things.

What materials make your senses tingle?

As a trained carpenter my favourite material is wood, in all its forms and designs. This prized building material always manages to put a smile on my face.

What should not be missing from your workplace?

There is always a cup of coffee at my work station.

What building and/or space has left a particularly lasting impression on you and why?

The «Top of the Rock» observation deck in Rockefeller Center, with its 360-degree view of New York City, was breath-taking. From there you can see the famous landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Central Park and even the Statue of Liberty in the distance.

What fills you with joy and pride in your professional life?

It fills me with pride to bring projects to successful completion and to see how creative ideas are brought to life.

What brings you joy in your personal life?

In my free time I enjoy going out with friends and family and taking cycling trips to get reenergised.
