How long have you been working for Dobas AG?  

I began my apprenticeship at Dobas in summer 2022.

What are your main tasks during your apprenticeship?

I support the entire Dobas team on different projects and take care of in-house tasks like printing out plans for clients.

How do you stay informed and, more importantly, inspired?

I gain knowledge at work and in vocational school. My biggest source of inspiration is social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.

What materials make your senses tingle?

I’m fascinated by serpentine marble because parts of it look as though they were a crystal. I really like the mix of green and black.

What should not be missing from your workplace?

I always have a (mostly) full bottle of water at my work station so that I’m sure to stay hydrated.

What building and/or space has left a particularly lasting impression on you and why?

A famous building that has stayed in my memory is the Oslo Opera House. It has a sloped roof that you can walk on and is located right on the harbour. I really like this ultra-modern building, as I do many other large buildings in Oslo.

What fills you with joy and pride in your professional life?

When I see what I’ve accomplished at the end of a project. I also really like it when I’m so absorbed and motivated by my work that I don’t notice time flying by.

What brings you joy in your personal life?

Playing handball and hanging out with my friends.
