Argolite – Swissbau Fair 2012

Exhibition booth for high pressure laminates on 210sqm at the Swissbau trade fair 2012.

For Argolite, manufacturer of HPL laminates, Dobas realized this exhibition stand for the trade fair Swissbau.

The goal of the exhibition stand was to attract the interest of visitors for the product HPL by its idiosyncratic architecture. The concept captivated by the two completely open end sides of the booth, the visitor moved in a «tube».

The exhibits were placed as falling monoliths in the landscape, the visitor was animated to discover the product haptically. The monolithic surfaces were either illuminated from the ceiling or, in the case of the averted surfaces, illuminated from the floor, generating an interesting ambient light.

The unfamiliar way of presenting the high pressure laminate generated a lasting impression on the visitors, even beyond the fair audition.
