What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?

My main responsibility is to create the export documents for our international interior architecture projects. I also coordinate the deliveries for all modes of transport.

How do you handle unanticipated challenges during project implementation?

When there are unexpected challenges during project implementation I try to stay calm and look for solutions. Then I analyse the situation to understand the source of the problem, and discuss possible ways of fixing it with my team or other people who are involved in order to include different perspectives. I set priorities to place the focus on the most important tasks and steer the project back on course.
Good communication skills and a positive collaborative atmosphere are crucial for overcoming challenges together.

What do you need at your work station at all times?

A cup with a good espresso.

How do you relax after a long day at work?

After a long day at work my favourite place to unwind and clear my head is on the golf course. The wide expanse and the greenery give me a feeling of freedom and help me forget whatever is stressing me out in my life. It is a sort of meditative calm that sets in with each stroke – because I have to concentrate fully on the game. The slow pace of the game ensures that I can disconnect and enjoy the moment. And, last but not least, I find it calming to be in nature, breathe in the fresh air and listen to the sounds of my environment. It is a perfect mix of movement and inner peace. Sometimes I also read a book to clear my head.

What makes a place a home for you?

For me a home should above all be a place that provides security and well-being. It should be a place in which I can completely relax and recharge my batteries. It should not only have a cosy atmosphere, but also a personal touch – whether with mementos, colours or smells. A home should also be a place where you can connect with people who are important to you, whether over a shared meal or casual conversation.
