What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?
My daily duties include drafting project plans, providing support to clients, answering phone calls and taking care of tasks for my team.
What has been the strongest influence on your perspective of design/interior architecture/architecture? Why?
Zaha Hadid is one of my biggest role models. She was the first woman to win the Pritzer Architecture Prize and designed such imaginative and extraordinary buildings that you can still marvel at them today.
What character traits are the most important for architecture/interior architecture professionals?
Imagination, the ability to work on a team and time management skills are particularly important traits in the field of architecture and interior architecture. Imagination is key for coming up with creative solutions; the ability to work on a team is essential for working with a variety of specialists; and good time management skills ensure that projects are implemented in on schedule.
What will the world of architecture/interior architecture look like in 2035? What things have changed significantly and how?
I think construction will become more digitised in the future. New technologies may help make planning processes more efficient and make construction more precise. Plus, the development of sustainable materials will play a major role in making construction more environmentally friendly and resource efficient. These innovations could dramatically change architecture and help it adapt to the challenges of the future.
What makes a place a home for you?
For me, a home is a place where you feel comfortable and can find refuge when you just want some peace and quiet. The people who fill it with life are especially important, whether it’s family or close friends who give us a feeling of home and belonging.
