What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?
Ensuring that our deliveries – whether by land, air or sea – reach our clients around the world on time, in tip-top shape, without damages, and with all the necessary paperwork.
How do you handle unanticipated challenges during project implementation?
I try to find solutions and discuss them with my teammates or the project managers. If we don’t find an ideal solution, it can be helpful to contact producers, freight forwarders or other experts. Until now we have always found a solution.
What do you need at your work station at all times?
I like to write notes with a pencil. An eraser and pencil sharpener are indispensable. Post-It notes also need to be on hand so I can jot down anything important.
How do you relax after a long day at work?
Since I usually get around by bike, even just my ride home is enough for me to disconnect and clear my head. In the winter I enjoy a nice cup of tea while reading at home and in the summer I love taking walks in nature and meeting friends for a drink.
What makes a place a home for you?
To me, a home is a familiar environment and people I know well, such as my family and friends; where people appreciate one another and cultivate relationships. A home should give me a feeling of security, safety, belonging and community.
