What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?

Operational management and strategic business development.

How would you describe your personal interior design style in three words?

Modernistic, simplistic, genuine. I love pure forms and neat geometry with a relationship to the environment.

What has been the strongest influence on your perspective of design/interior architecture/architecture? Why?

The fascination of solving problems in many ways – preferably in an unconventionally simple way. An inspiring example is the Juicy Salif lemon juicer that Phillipe Starck designed for Alessi.

What would you change at your own work station if you had free rein?

I’d give us a view of greenery. Even though I thoroughly appreciate the location of our office in central Lucerne, I do miss looking out into the vastness of nature.

What do you need at your work station at all times?

Coffee, at all times, and always more of it!!!

What character traits are the most important for architecture/interior architecture professionals?

Curiosity, a willingness to experiment and common sense.

What makes a place a home for you?

My family.

What song have you been listening to for years that never gets old?

«Fly Me to the Moon» by Count Basie and Frank Sinatra.
