Interior Design Realisation for a Mikimoto Boutique
We implemented the interior design of a monobrand boutique in the extension wing of the Dubai Mall for Mikimoto, the time-honoured Japanese company that cultures high-quality pearls. The aim was to create, in an area of 100 sqm, an exclusive and functional sales space that emphasised the unique nature of the pearls on display.

Our Realisation team was responsible for the complete implementation of the brand concept for Mikimoto’s luxury jewellery boutique. This project required a lot of flexibility and careful planning, as we had to have our plans approved by the Japanese parent company and coordinate with the client and brand representatives in different time zones.
The boutique’s built-in elements called for intricate, detailed solutions; the high-gloss finish of the curved surfaces required extra precision in material processing. The centrally positioned ceiling and floor design directs the gaze to the precious objects, while the dominant white surfaces make the room appear larger and also help avoid distracting colour reflections on the pearls.
The shop window structure posed a particular challenge during the production phase: we had to ensure that the glass fronts would reliably function as a load-bearing link between the base and the superstructure. The installation was successfully completed in just ten days. We were particularly focused on the flawless realisation of the sophisticated surfaces.
