What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?

As part of the Creation team, I am mostly involved in the creative side of our line of work: I create concepts and plan projects from the start. I always challenge myself to combine aesthetics, funcionality and sustainability, and integrate all the clients’ wishes and suggestions into the designs.

How do you handle unanticipated challenges during project implementation?

Our project flows rarely run exactly according to plan, so I’m used to having to rethink things or quickly improvise new solutions. I try to never lose sight of my objective, but keep myself open to different possibilities for reaching it. Good communication is key for ensuring a smooth a process as possible. I learn with every challenge and grow with every task.

How would you describe your personal interior design style in three words?

Stylish, harmonious mix.

What do you need at your work station at all times?

You can always count on finding various colour fan decks on my desk. I recently put a picture of my kids on the bulletin board. Their cheerful faces always remind me to see and approach things in an open-minded way – with a good helping of honesty.

What character traits are the most important for architecture/interior architecture professionals?

Excellent spatial perception, flexibility when things don’t go as expected during a project, empathy, good communication skills, creativity, and a feel for colours and trends.
